To begin the slaughter process, the Head & Trachea Puller 180 rapidly and efficiently separate unwanted components from those processed later. The puller is motor-driven and uses intense downward pressure to quickly and effectively do its job.
The Head and Trachea puller is placed in a 180° curve in the overhead conveyor. The bird is fed into the machine breast first facing the unit. The puller uses individual processing units for each bird to ensure complete removal. Head, trachea and oesophagus are separated together and the offal is dropped into a receiving bin by a rotating scraper. Neck skin losses are at a minimum with this module.
