Amateurs, especially children and young people, participated in a three day equestrian competition. Over 70 competitors from dozens from club joined the jumping over obstacles. They all presented a quite high level of equestrian skills, despite the fact that many young enthusiasts participated for the first time.

The athletes enjoyed a day of fun on horseback and received many valuable equestrian awards: rugs, equestrian equipment, medals and cups handed over by the Mayor of Lębork, the Stork’s Nest of Slupsk and the Deputies to the Polish Parliament, as well as representatives of the sponsoring local companies.

A professional jury was safeguarding the event: Marek Chojnacki Chief - Judge of the Polish Union Association Storks Nest in Runow, Marta Rutkiewicz - Foundation President, and Joanna Sypuł - Vice President of the FoundationMałgorzata Maćkowiak.  A member of the Board of Pomeranian Equestrian Association, Mr. Jacek Goszczyński, presented the certificate.

On Monday, May 1, 2017, during the finals of the Championships,  an additional Family Picnic "Kashubian Treasures" was organized with lots of other fun activities for children. Running around with painted faces they modeled fancy balloons, played enormous bubbles, participated in interesting games and competitions, jumped on inflatable castles, played drums, and even art classes were conducted.

Slupsk and the beauty of the Lębork Region were presented by the Local Tourist Offices from Lebork in educational tents of Cewice Forests, Lębork, Łupawa and Damnica, where foresters presented the beauty of the Polish nature. Finallz culinary workshops demonstrated the use of liquid nitrogen and Michał Turek from the Plaster Foundation talked about healthy nutrition and family cooking. 

Creative graffiti from Patryk Łukaszuk was auctioned to support a family in a difficult situation in the City of Potęgowo.The entire event was hosted by Jan Kiśluk, and numerous dance and vocal ensembles performed on stage. Over 3500 visitors came by.Meyn Poland, a major employer in the region, has been involved in social projects in the area for several years.

We are proud to make our contribution to the community, and especially to the youth in these communities. Events such as these contribute to mutual understanding, community building and co-operation, and it is fun to hold the stirrups up high for the next generation.
