Installing a Meyn Rapid Plus in times of social distancing. Our engineer Kees de Heer is managing the project remotely, whilst Tim Parkinson is bringing all ends together on-site at Salisbury Poultry (Midlands) Ltd.
A precious milestone as Salisbury Poultry recently celebrated their 30th anniversary! This family operated business run by Raj Mehta and sons Haresh and Ricky, runs their Cutting and deboning line at approximately 15,000 birds per hour at their cutting plant in Bilston, West Midlands. Predominantly supplying to the now so essential food service industry, catering, wholesale and retail sectors.
"Deboning fillet via cones lines, with labour becoming more scarce in Europe within our industry, resulted in Salisbury Poultry investing in more automation. After detailed discussions with all equipment suppliers Salisbury Poultry believes that the Meyn Rapid Plus best suits our business needs. Being a fully automatic solution, running at 7000 front halves per hour."
