Products can be rehung based on quality, quantity and/or weight. The new carousel wheel (middle shaft) transports products between lines and compensates for in/outfeed line variations. Product carriers move with the carousel using a powerful magnetic brake, even if the carrier stops in the buffer. Wear is minimal and no lubricant is required. A transport conveyor can handle many fallen products and evacuate them quickly. Fallen products offloaded to a separate hanger belt or bin via an inclined conveyer.
