The Optic bird counter uses three sensors to detect if a bird is hanging in a shackle, which gives a higher level of accuracy for up to 12,000 birds/hr.
The optical sensors scan and count each bird as it passes through the module. Simultaneously, the product counter engages a trigger wheel equipped with two A/B sensors and one flag sensor to detect wheel revolutions and rotation along with the line’s chain length. Data is immediately processed, logged and can be seen by personnel right away. For high speeds of 12,000+ birds/hr, have a straight in-feed toward the sensor of at least three meters. Avoid spray, dust and other pollutants for optimal sensor performance.
Accurately count birds at speeds in excess of 12,000 birds/hr
Entire module does not require personnel to operate
