The Offal separator module segregates water from offal, which may contain feathers, intestines and other evisceration waste or combinations of waste.
Offal is pumped through a piping net, usually situated on a plant’s ceiling. The end of the pipe connects to the separator connection flange, which moves the offal into a rotating drum, made of wire netting or perforated sheet metal. Water discharges out the bottom and can be reused. Offal is expelled on the far end, collected and taken away. The separator has a water spray tube on top of the drum, which cleans out the module after each use to maintain hygienic, rust-free wire netting.
