Smart design takes feet removal to a whole new level of efficiency. Hocks, having already been separated from the whole bird, are transported in-shackle and perfectly positioned in the Feet cutter for fast, clean cuts.
The hocks hang in the de-feathering shackle and are cut through the heel by a rotating knife into a shank and a foot. The Feet cutter is placed in a 180° curve on an overhead conveyor. Hocks are aligned with a positioning unit integrated in the cutter. Feet remain in the shackle and can be removed with the feet unloader. Shanks are dropped below the machine to be processed further (containers or pumping systems sold separately).
