The Feet de-skinner M1.0 mechanically de-skins poultry feet. Feet go into the de-skinner for automatic treatment by rubber plucking fingers and come out clean. This electric motor powered module can sit anywhere inside a processing plant.
Feet can be inserted using a pump, elevating conveyor or by hand. They are de-skinned by plucking fingers mounted in the cover. A water spray system is integrated in the cover and the de-skinner is provided with an internal screen plate to separate the feet from the skin. The skin is then discharged with water. One side of the module has a hopper and a discharge trough at the other, under which a crate can be placed. Water and skin are discharged through a drain connection.
