The puller is situated immediately after the plucking stage, prior to evisceration. Available in Saturnus or Jumbo models, each unit is determined by the line speed. Both can be setup with a hung or floor-mounted frame.
The broilers are guided into the puller via two positioning bars. As the bars gradually tighten, the head is pulled downwards by the force of the shackle as it continues around the overhead conveyor. A further narrowing of the bar pulls the oesophagus and trachea from the neck. Products go into a container or via a pump and processing solution (sold separately).
