The Breast cap cutter makes an exactly positioned symmetrical cut, maximizing the valuable breast meat left with the cap, and minimizing bone contamination from rib splinters within untrimmed filets.
The module cuts ribs at various lengths. A transfer wheel guides the breast caps from the module and positions each individual cap onto a conveyor belt. Caps are forwarded to a weighing belt without the need for manual labor or any additional mechanical support.
The module is suitable for the Physic and the Flex Plus line.
