A single, solution for weighing, quality grading and near-100% chill-to-sort transfer at line speeds above 16,000 bph
At VIV Europe 2026, Meyn will showcase the Asymmetric Rehanger alongside the upgraded high-speed sorting line — weighing, Multi Vision quality grading and synchronized chill-to-sort transfer in one machine. Paired with the new Chill–Sort Drop Station M3.0 and new Commanded Transfer to the cut-up lines, it delivers the industry’s highest weighing, grading and transfer performance in the smallest footprint.
Birds are transferred seamlessly from the 6” chilling line to the 8” sorting line on fixed carriers that spread for full bird separation in the middle table of the rehanger. Dual parallel load cells at the widest point deliver exceptional weighing accuracy, and a four-camera Multi Vision system grades each bird in full 360° — driving accurate distribution by weight and visual criteria.
With weighing and grading done in the rehanger, birds transfer onto simple, maintenance-free 8" sorting shackles — no complex weighing or turning shackles required. And because the line runs 20% slower than 10" sorting lines with no up-and-down routing for grading, Meyn’s chill-to-cut-up solution is the most durable sorting line in the industry.

The Asymmetric Rehanger fits directly into Meyn Chill-Sort-Cut-up configurations and is built for long-term performance in demanding plants. It is also available for Evisceration–Chill, with the same benefits. Visit Meyn at VIV Europe to see how it simplifies the line, centralizes weighing and grading, and gives processors greater control at high capacity.
