The Meyn® Carousel M2.0 rehanger Sort - Cut-up features a redesigned commanded shaft that enables selective bird transfers to cut-up lines. This new commanded shaft leads to a strong reduction of forces required for a smooth transfer that minimizes breakdown risk and damage to birds with the highest transfer performance and superior reliability.
The Meyn Carousel Rehanger M2.0 facilitates the transfer of poultry products between different processing lines, whether they operate at similar or different speeds and at the same or different shackle pitches. The products are picked up from the large ingoing shaft to facilitate a high speed process and transported to the product carriers running on the middle shaft. These carriers run independently on the table of the middle shaft, allowing to compensate for differences in speed and shackle pitch between the two lines. The product carriers are driven by a patented magnetic brake system, eliminating friction and minimizing wear and tear. The Carouse M2.0 can be equipped with Optional weighing through the installation of a weighing carrier set digital load cells. In the event of an unexpected stop, the system automatically directs products to an emergency conveyor, minimizing disruptions.
