Drop Stations M3.0

The Meyn® Chill-Sort Drop Stations provide dependable whole bird dropping performance with high sorting accuracy

The Drop Station M3.0 are the most versatile and flexible drop stations suitable for a wide range of line speeds and shackle distances. The drop stations can be installed in both Chill and sorting lines. The redesigned dropping mechanism ensures that the birds slide smoothly and reliably out of the shackles using an upward moving lever, which replaces the previous frontal pulse movement. This improvement leads to a controlled dropping performance. Installing and adjusting the drop stations is simple, and they are easy to service and maintain. Additionally, the noise levels have improved compared to the current drop stations.

The development of the new Chill-Sort Drop stations has been part of the high-speed innovation program, which also includes the Meyn® Asymmetric Rehanger for transferring to an 8" sorting line. Consequently, the new drop stations can handle all speeds up to at least 15,000 birds per hour and it is now possible to drop birds from 6" cooling shackles.
