The AI-trained Meyn Multi Vision Quality Grading System sets the industry benchmark for poultry quality grading. With four camera tubes providing a complete 360° view, the system delivers superior defect detection accuracy while minimizing false downgrades and manual rework. Through an intuitive user interface with real photo examples, operators can easily set and adjust quality thresholds to match changing supply and demand conditions—ensuring maximum value from every bird.
The Meyn® Multi Vision Quality Grading system uses advanced cameras and AI software for superior grading accuracy of whole birds and parts. The system features four camera tubes, that are fitted with powerful, non-flashing LED lights for clear, detailed images The AI software detects defects including empty shackles, one-leg birds, broken wings, skin flaws, meat damage, burns, and bruises—even in hard-to-see areas like wing pits and groins.
Through an intuitive interface, operators can adjust quality thresholds to optimize sorting based on market demand and incoming product quality. The output is sent to the Meyn Distribution Manager line control system to distribute each bird to the right destination based on its weight and quality for maximum yield and value.
The system's compact and flexible design integrates easily with all Meyn sorting and cut-up processing lines. The Meyn® Multi Vision Grading can also be incorporated into the Meyn Asymmetric Rehanger, where front, right, and left cameras grade birds at the widest point in the rehanger, while a back camera in the outgoing line completes the full 360-degree view.

The highest number of grading features customizable for each part of the bird for optimal whole bird and parts gradings. Superior grading accuracy prevents unnecessary downgrades and ensures optimal product distribution for maximum value. The intuitive interface gives customers complete control over settings, allowing optimization for farm-specific product quality and special customer requirements.
Left, centre, right and back camera in compact camera tubes with bright, integrated non-flashing LED lighting for full bird view even in groins and wing pits.
The system's precise grading virtually eliminates the need to rehang misclassified products and provides transparency in production numbers. It handles line speeds up to 18,000 birds per hour (300 birds per minute). Compact and flexible footprint for optimal lay-out in all Meyn distribution/sorting and cut-up lines.
Built for durability, the Multi Vision Quality Grading System features robust components requiring minimal maintenance—mainly lens drying after cleaning to prevent scalding and stains that could affect grading performance. For unexpected issues, we recommend keeping one spare tube on hand for quick replacement. Any damaged components can then be repaired in a clean, dry environment.
