It seamlessly transfers birds from the 6" chilling line to the 8" sorting line shackles while maintaining full synchronization. This design virtually eliminates dropped birds and one-leg transfers. This together with the integrated high-precision weighing and the state-of-the-art Multi Vision bird grading ensures that birds can be perfectly distributed to the right destination at the highest processing speeds.
The Meyn® Asymmetric Weighing Chill-Sort rehanger smoothly transfers birds from the 6" chilling line to the 8" sorting line shackles on the outgoing shaft. In the middle shaft, the leg carriers expand eccentrically to 11 inches wide before contracting back to 8 inches for transfer. At their widest point, the carriers pass over two parallel load cells, allowing precise digital weighing without bird-to-bird contact. The mechanically locking leg carriers with back support keep birds completely stable for accurate weighing. The optional fully integrated four-camera Multi Vision grading system takes full advantage of the Asymmetrical Rehanger’ s design—with right, center, and left cameras examining birds at the widest point, while a back camera in the outgoing line completes the 360-degree view for thorough grading. The 8" sorting line runs 20% slower than 10" weighing lines and uses a simple sorting shackle, ensuring maximum reliability and durability across Meyn's transfer and sorting solutions.
