The Jet Stream Scalder uses a high-turbulence water flow system that ensures even feather follicle loosening, enabling easy plucking without harming the skin. The water temperature remains uniform throughout the process, preventing quality deterioration such as "cooked" spots on the breast, which can occur if heat is introduced too aggressively into the scalder.

By utilizing downward water flow and, depending on the setup, multiple rinsing stages throughout the scalding process, the system effectively removes organic materials before the plucking stage, contributing to a cleaner and more hygienic process. The system is designed for direct or indirect steam heating, making it adaptable to various processing requirements.
